Who are we.

Founded in a basement with a camera and a passion for action sports, The Stoker Collective has grown from filming buddies snowboarding and local moto-x races into a full-service visual media company.

While the gear and clients have evolved, our core mission remains the same:

tell compelling stories of real people doing extraordinary things.

Rob’s been chasing adventure since childhood— usually with a camera in one hand and a coffee in the other. He got his start filming friends snowboarding and racing motocross around the east coast. Fast forward a decade or two, and he’s now an Emmy-nominated cinematographer and documentary filmmaker with credits on shows like The Amazing Race, Gold Rush, and Ink Master.

These days, Rob leads The Stoker Collective with a focus on capturing real people doing amazing things — from local legends to hardworking crews, small business owners to global brands. When he’s not behind the lens, you’ll find him mountain biking, fishing, or enjoying the many beautiful corners of BC’s Sunshine Coast with his family. He brings a deep love of the outdoors, sharp storytelling instincts, and a down-to-earth approach to every shoot. Whether he's flying a drone over the Pacific or filming on the forest floor, Rob's stoked to help tell stories that matter.
